What Is Dream For All

And Why Timing Matters

👉 Dream For All is a California state administered down payment assistance program designed for first generation homebuyers.

👉 Eligible buyers may receive up to 20 percent of the home’s purchase price as a shared appreciation loan.

👉 It is not first come, first served. And it is NOT open year round.

👉 The application window for the next cycle opens February 24 and closes March 16. Funding is limited, and applications are selected through a random process. Buyers who are not fully prepared when the window opens are often unable to apply at all.

👉 Preparation happens before the application period begins. It includes working with an approved lender, understanding income limits by county, and having documentation ready for submission.

We will also walk through a real Dream For All transaction that successfully closed in the last program cycle, including what preparation looked like and where delays occurred.

This webinar focuses on how the program works in practice and what buyers need to do before the APPLICATION window opens.
